E.K. Associates assisted GDIT in the network design of Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (PIDS) to improve the security of the perimeter of the airfield of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Our responsibilities included:
- Design and implementation of Airfield PIDS (Perimeter Intrusion Detection System) featuring Cisco, VMWare ESXi, integrating with SightLogix/Genetec IP video solution
- Delivery of a complete physical, layers 2/3/4 design, routing and switching, firewall integration and endpoint security design and fully implemented the solution on the LAX Airfield and data center.
