Client: Los Angeles World Airport (LAWA)
Partnered with: Jacobs Engineering
Project: Facilities Management Implementation Project (FMIP)
Role: Project Management, SAP Systems Analysis and Requirements Gathering and Maximo Integration
E.K. Associates assisted Jacobs Engineering in the implementation of LAWA’s Facilities Management Project.
E.K.’s responsibilities were to interview users in the finance, payroll, IT, and other divisions to develop a new functional requirements document that would integrate the SAP (FI/CO) with the new Asset Management System (Maximo). Our experts prepared deliverables by interviewing users and reviewing documents, pathways, and business process and rules. We then created the data model (including entity relationship between the different systems).
Our services included:
- Led the effort in accessing LAWA’s SAP Financial System structure
- Developed systems integration recommendations between the SAP system and Asset Management System (Maximo)
- The final deliverable included the baseline report and recommendation report for the integration of the Financial Accounting Management Information System (FAMIS) with the new asset management system (Maximo)
- Maintained and managed the Project Management Office (PMO) including deliverable management.
