Project: Design and Build of the Airport Response Coordination Center (ARCC)
Role: System analysis and interface design, testing, training and technical documentation
E.K. Associates assisted SDI to build a new Airport Response Command Center at LAX. E.K. was the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the design, development, integration and software specifications of the ARCC. The systems included Data911 (Computer Aided Dispatch Center), Picture Perfect (Access Control), FireWorks (Fire and Life Safety System) & Everbridge (Mass Notification). As SMEs for new systems we integrated software into the NICE SITUATOR.
Our responsibilities included:
- Performing systems analysis based upon client requirements, software capabilities and design of interfaces, quality assurance and quality controls
- Creating System requirement specifications and end user functional/technical documentation
- Specializing in user interfaces, from preliminary research through implementation and training.
